DVSC offers 1 to 1 advice and guidance to Third Sector organisations to support funding and sustainability
We work closely with organisations to provide guidance on suitable grants, eligibility and application criteria, to enable you to apply for funding to support your projects.
As part of this support, we provide assistance to sign up and use the Funding Wales website: https://funding.cymru/en which is a free online search engine for funding. You can search hundreds of grant and loan finance opportunities from local, national and international sources. From small grants to large capital projects, we can help you find the funding you need.
We also distribute grants including:
- Welsh Church Act
- Youth Led Grant
- Dementia Aware Community Led Grant

We host Funding Fairs across the County 3 times a year.
DVSC’s drop in funding fairs provide organisations with the chance to engage directly with funders, enabling you to receive specialised advice and support for your project and funding needs.
We provide “Meet the Funder” sessions.
These are events where organisations seeking funding can connect with potential funders. It provides an opportunity to learn about available grants, funding criteria, and application processes while allowing attendees to ask questions, gain insights, and establish relationships with funding bodies.
