DVSC is a membership based charity. Part of our mission and role is to be an influential voice in Denbighshire and North Wales.
DVSC is a member of the pan-Wales Third Sector Support Wales partnership. We showcase the value and expertise of Third Sector organisations with Public Sector partners and programmes.
We promote the Third Sector as an active partner in engaging communities and residents of Denbighshire, and our role in influencing policy, service design and commissioning.
We work with the Denbighshire Third Sector Influencing Group to advise on this. This group comprises experienced Third Sector leaders who come together to raise issues and opportunities together with our Public Sector partners.
As the membership body for volunteers, voluntary and community groups, third sector organisations and social enterprises in Denbighshire; engagement and influencing is a core part of what we do. We receive core funding from Welsh Government to engage and influence our public service partners on behalf of the third sector.
