DVSC Launches a Month-long Safeguarding Awareness Event

“Safe Together: Protecting our Communities”

A safeguarding awareness event is set to take place throughout the month of March 2025, as DVSC promotes safer and more resilient communities in Denbighshire. “Safe Together: Protecting Our Communities,” will raise awareness of the crucial importance of safeguarding in the voluntary and not for profit sectors.

Supporting our voluntary sector communities in identifying risks, understanding responsibilities, and building a culture of safety, there will be a mix of information and online resources. The programme is accessible to anyone involved in the voluntary and not-for-profit sector in Denbighshire.

“Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility,” said Alison Carter, DVSC’s Enterprise Manager. “This initiative is about exploring how we can better equip our communities with the knowledge and confidence to protect the most vulnerable among us. Together, we can create safer environments for everyone.”
