Denbighshire Voluntary Services Council (DVSC) is delighted to announce they have been granted a North Wales partner regional award for the Food for Life Programme. During this three-year project DVSC will be promoting and supporting communities throughout North Wales to have their own intergenerational food event.

A Food for Life event is any occasion, big or small, where different generations come together to grow, share or cook. Food for Life celebrations are about people coming together and giving people of all ages and backgrounds the chance to connect while enjoying good, healthy food.

Helen Wilkinson, Chief Executive at DVSC says: “We believe this is an exciting opportunity to think about what your community really needs and build an event with food at the heart.”

DVSC can support you or your non-profit organisation to apply for a Food for Life grant of up to £150 to spend on the event, along with an interactive tool kit to help plans go smoothly.

If you would like more information and support please contact DVSC on 01824 702 441 or email engagement@dvsc.co.uk.

You can also sign up for DVSC’s Spring Funding Fair, to be held on 25th March at the Naylor Leyland Centre in Ruthin. To confirm your attendance for the fair, follow the Eventbrite link: bit.ly/SpringFundingFair2020. More details about the Fair and other exciting events will be announced on DVSC’s social media channels, Twitter and Facebook or you can follow Denbighshire Voluntary Services Council on Eventbrite to be notified of any upcoming events.

About Food for Life

Food for Life began as a campaign by the Soil Association, in 2003 with the aim of changing school food for the better.

Since then, both the Soil Association and Food for Life have continued to campaign around the theme of Good Food for All, on the basis that we want everyone to be able to access food that is good for them and good for the planet.

You'll find some of our key policy reports and campaign documents here. For more information, please visit the Soil Association website.

Manylion am Fwyd am Oes

Dechreuodd Bwyd am Oes fel ymgyrch gan Gymdeithas y Pridd yn 2003, gyda’r nod o newid prydau bwyd ysgol er gwell.

Ers hynny mae Cymdeithas y Pridd a Bwyd am Oes wedi parhau i ymgyrchu ar y tham Bwyd Da i Bawb, ar y sail ein bod ni eisiau i bawb fedru cael bwyd sy’n dda iddyn nhw ac yn dda i’r blaned.

Fe welwch rai o’n adroddiadau polisi a dogfennau ymgyrchu allweddol yma. Edrychwch ar wefan Cymdeithas y Pridd os hoffech chi gael rhagor o wybodaeth.
